The diagnose result says that “The network gateway is accessible, but Windows couldn’t receive traffic from the Internet”. Ensure lan cables are in good working condition. My onboard ethernet port got hit by lightning recently. I can’t understand the problem please help me. Have you contacted D-Link to see if they have proper Windows 8 Drivers for the device?

I can’t understand the problem please help me. It sounds as if Windows installed just a generic driver but it is not allowing it to connect to the network. FurryNutz on November 01, Any status on this?
Test the card out on a different router or installed in a different PC to help narrow it down more. Have you contacted D-Link to see if they have proper Windows 8 Drivers for the device?

I have exactly the same problem. And after that in the tray icon of LAN it showed up a “! Please login or register. Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while installing drivers. As well as using the LAN to USB device on the “defect” PC and can connect to internet dfe-520gx untill yesterday another lightning strikes that device and made it dead.
