I also found an IBM slot 1 motherboard with a Pentium for this computer. Your installed operating system and software both access BIOS routines directly to provide compatibility for functions such as graphics. Cool Onion, see if this applies to you or helps.
Unless the flash drive manufacturer supplies drivers for 95, which I doubt, you can forget it. Would the blueish grow bulb put out enough UV for the retrobrite to work?

In response to retrobrite, how are you guys getting the UV light onto your yellowed plastic? Paint Shop Pro 3. Driev that it’s on a CD, it should theoretically last forever, which you can’t say about a hard drive.
The BIOS contains the code necessary control the keyboard, monitor display, hard drives, serial ports and more.
The first generation of Aptivas used the desktop and tower unit form factors. Intellistations are really cool and built well I was going to buy one of those and I am glad I did not.
It still works fine though. I took all the good stuff from my old and PII and burned it on flwsh cd with my new computer. Later in the production life, all Aptivas used tower unit form factors. Most notably on Aptivas is the ability to support larger hard drives than were supported by the system as shipped I do like the Thinkcenter and Thinkstation and Thinkpads however they are higher quality.
