I hate the sounds are the sounds of electric guitar. I have had this for a couple of years now and no problems at all, still plays as it did when I bought yamqha.
And I also don’t like the fact that it destroyed several devices that cost five times as much. The manual seems clear and understandable even for beginners. I am obliged to pass through effects or that only the noon if I want to get the sounds correct.
The piano sounds are pretty good too! I manage to destroy it with a parametric equalizer, but before it was a constant problem! Perfect to learn on and get a feel if keyboards are what you want to play without spending a bundle. I use it at home and with a band we play rock and heavy metal stuff. In spite of this, I find this function very useful.

Yes, very clear except for one point: I tested yakaha lot of other keyboards, I ignore the sound quality, I was looking for the most complete keyboard with a pitch wheel, at least expensive. Another problem is that the memory of the keyboard gets w403 erased when you don’t turn it off at the right moment. But then again a beginner doesn’t have to worry about that. Does the unit have an effects section?
I really like the sound quality, which is excellent considering the price: I promise to use it only to send you Yamaha Keyboard Guide Xpress!. Of course there are much better but more expensive too.
The optional AC adapter comes with a cheap sustain pedal and adds about 35 dollars to the price, but needed. I think you can hardly find a better keyboard for its price and I’m satisfied with it.

I believe it is a good way to be introduced to various genres of music. The pitch bend wheel will come in pretty useful on the PSRE Yes, you can save complete configurations in a sound bank.
Sort by most recent most useful. It is possible to combine two sounds at the same time and adjust several settings for each. Choir and orchestral presets are quite average and the guitar simulations deserve no comments.

I bought this Yamaha keyboard on an impulse at GC one day because it was on sale for Exceptional value for money in spite of the few negative points I’m generally disappointed by the sounds, especially piano and guitar. With dual mode you can layer two voices together – example piano and strings. You may not be able to put in as much music as you want to and you may have to keep your music rather simple.
